Jason Jones ICF-MN fills my bucket!! I look forward to the in person meetings to connect with my tribe of coaches and enjoy the way of being only coaches embody. It energizes me. https://s3.amazonaws.com/ClubExpressClubFiles/907122/graphics/Jason_Jones_1992631113.jpg
Bev Lutz ICF membership provides incredible professional networking opportunities, professional and personal growth, and opportunities to explore my strengths as I volunteer in service of my profession.  My chapter really helps me stay current with coaching, thought leadership, and learn-n-earn (CEU’s) from professional development events.  But it’s the supportive coach-friends and collaborators who have made membership for me priceless. //s3.amazonaws.com/ClubExpressClubFiles/907122/graphics/BevLutz1_669008720.jpg

Irene Kelly

Being a member of ICF offers me the opportunity for certification by the industry professional standard bearer; being a member of ICF Minnesota connects me to my professional peers for networking and collaboration.  Membership in both establishes me as “credible” and provides me opportunities to learn and grow.

Perfect timing…

I am in Fargo helping my mom this week and will be here for a while. Yesterday, I had a full day working remotely from Fargo. I was faced with finding the best location to work at my mom’s house, setting up my workspace, attending many Zoom calls, and running errands afterward.

At the end of a busy day of work it was time to run a few errands; however, the timing was going to be tight. I had to drive to the mall, return a computer cord, pick up a different cord, and drive to the restaurant to get our take-out dinner within 30 minutes. I knew it was a stretch goal. I was focused as I headed out the door and then my mom asked me to pick up the newspaper. This last request was potentially tricky. Fargo only prints the paper two days each week and I was uncertain if there would be any papers left this late in the day. I told her I’d do my best.

I got in the car, took a breath, and headed out. Then something wonderful happened! All the lights were green so the drive to the mall was effortless, there was no line for returns or pickups at the store, and the lights were green on the return trip. I was riding the wave as I walked into the gas station where the last Fargo Forum sat on the counter waiting for me alongside a Star Tribune which I bought for her as a bonus. I drove to the restaurant and arrived at the exact time the food was brought out to the cashier. Many people would call this Serendipity or Synchronicity. I agree and would even take it a step further to say the universe was supporting me as I supported her. It was unexpected and delightful. It reminds me to ask these questions more frequently.

· How have you experienced serendipity/synchronicity lately?

· Where are you curious about the alignment and timing and how perfect it was?

· How are you being supported and lifted-up?

· What can you do to support and encourage others?

An interactive panel discussion focused on the impact and need for coaching in non-profit organizations.  Coaching services for the non-profit professional remain scarce. When and if a non-profit organization receives an increase in donations or other external funding, such resources usually go directly to programs for their often, underestimated clients.

While appreciating the benefits of staff development and employee self-care, non-profits often cannot afford the additional resources it takes to offer training internally to their employees and volunteers. The non-profit space is experiencing an awaking to the power of coaching.  Through partnerships and expansion within grants, offering hybrid solutions, can be the key to unlocking coaching in a powerful way to make a difference.

BIPOC Safe Space Session

ICF MN is doing its part as an organization to deal with issues that relate to indifferences that deal directly with equity and inclusion. One way we are working towards a better tomorrow is by creating a Safe Space for BIPOC (Black Indigenous People of Color) Coaches.
This group will meet at 12:00 pm on the 4th Friday of each month for the next 6 months. It will be a place where BIPOC folks can network, share stories, trade insights, and be able to be seen and heard.
We invite you to our next session!
