Why is there a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Justice & Belonging Team? 

The DEIJB team was started as a response to identify and champion all people in our community of coaching. To have the representation of the ICF reflect the community we serve.

Our mission & vision



Our Mission is to cultivate a multi-cultural community of coaches for advancing the coaching profession through professional development, networking and adherence to ICF professional and ethical standards making ICF MN the premier organization for coaches of all ethnic, racial and cultural backgrounds

The Vision: Coaching and coaches are available to all people of ethnic, racial and cultural backgrounds in greater Minnesota and surrounding areas. 

Our Goal is to invite folks from diverse backgrounds to discover and explore coaching. Intentionally sharing in spaces/cultures that are overlooked. There are 4 foundations to consider:

  1. Invitation – Inviting those from diverse backgrounds to discover and explore coaching. 

  2. Access – Permission, liberty or ability to enter, approach or ability to obtain or make use of something. 

  3. Resources: Source of supply or support – an available means 

  4. Retaining – to keep our diversity in ICF MN
