Bev Lutz ICF membership provides incredible professional networking opportunities, professional and personal growth, and opportunities to explore my strengths as I volunteer in service of my profession.  My chapter really helps me stay current with coaching, thought leadership, and learn-n-earn (CEU’s) from professional development events.  But it’s the supportive coach-friends and collaborators who have made membership for me priceless. //s3.amazonaws.com/ClubExpressClubFiles/907122/graphics/BevLutz1_669008720.jpg

Biography

I am leadership coach, thought partner, and facilitator with 35+ years of nonprofit leadership experience, including serving as a CEO. I partner with leaders navigating complexity, helping them align identity, values, and strategy to lead with clarity and resilience. Through SMP Leadership, I integrate strengths-based development, adaptive leadership, and systems thinking to support sustainable growth. I believe that each person brings their own story to the table as an individual whether I a working with them personally or with their team. I utilize Clifton Strengths, Intercultural Development Inventory assessments, and Working Genius assessments as tools to bring self and team awareness to the conversation. Seeing teams build capacity to meet the needs of their changing communities shifting systems and growing themselves are what engergizes me.

I spent 8 years with a unique, one of a kind model in the YMCA developing leaders from a range of industries from government, higher education, large corporations, and nonprofits of all sizes. It was an amazing journey building something unique and impactful utilizing experiential learning to challenge people's mental models of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, biking, photography, and woodworking to keep me grounded and attentive to the long view of leadership and life.
