Biography
I coach leaders who exist to make the world a better place — because the mission deserves their best.
Hi, I'm Greg Ellis — coach, pastor, educator, and researcher living in Otsego, Minnesota, with my wife Kari.
I specialize in coaching mission-driven leaders: pastors, nonprofit executives, denominational staff, and social enterprise leaders navigating the intersection of vocational calling and organizational responsibility. I work in English and Spanish.
I hold an MDiv from Fuller Theological Seminary and a BA from Bethel University, am ordained in the Evangelical Covenant Church, and hold an ACC credential with over 1,000 hours of coaching experience — currently working toward my PCC. I serve as the Vitality Coaching Coordinator for the Evangelical Covenant Church and as Coaching Network Manager with Communitas International.
I'm also completing an Ed.D. in Leadership Studies at Trevecca Nazarene University. My dissertation research examines how professional coaching supports transformation among mission-driven leaders — specifically how coaching relationship quality influences both cognitive transformation and behavioral change. If you coach leaders in ministry, nonprofit, or social enterprise contexts, I'd love to connect — your clients may be exactly the population my research is designed to serve.
I want every leader I work with to feel like their well is full, they're serving from abundance, and they're genuinely excited to show up every day.
If you have something important you've been stuck on or want clarity about, I'd love to gift you a complimentary one-hour coaching conversation.
